What is an Algorithm and why is it so important?
The Algorithm is the rules built into a CPAP machine to determine what is the correct pressure to treat your sleep apnea. Most machines have the ability to be able to monitor every breath you take but it is then how the machine responds to this information which will determine if the technology inside an Auto Machine is effective. The Lowenstien brands use Forced Occilation technique to be able to differentiate between central and obstructive apneas. This allows the machine to then treat the obstructive events and not over deliver on pressure when central events occur. With the German technology it also has some amazing technology to ensure the pressure you need to treat your sleep apnea is delivered each and every night

Connectivity
The machine has a very dynamic App that will enable the patient to monitor their data on a daily basis. The Prisma Smart can connect via Blue tooth to the App and also will allow connection to the Primsa Cloud through its integrated modem.This will enhance the ultimate in telemdeical solutions but making your data available to our tema so we can evaluate if problems are existing.
PrismaAqua
The PrismaAqua humidifier technology is unique to Lowenstein. It has a hot rod that will be immersed in the water chmaber and provides better control of the levels of humidity supplied to the patient. Older humidifiers rely on a heater plate base that lies under the chamber is less efficent and less responsive to chnages.
Hybernite Heated Tubing
Included in this package is the heated tubing which will be plugged in seperate to the machine. This will prevent condensation occuring during the winter monhts and in the warmer months a standard tube can be used to preserve the life the heated tube
